I've written my dreams, fears and hopes since I was a little girl. Through the years, I've fought through my own demons, struggles, adversities and hope. I've come out stronger and more confident than ever before, but I'm still learning.

Looking Through My Eyes tells stories of overcoming and strength no matter how many times you've been knocked down. We all have a strength and power inside of us just waiting to be released. I truly believe that our most difficult struggles are there to teach us our biggest lessons. No matter what you've been through, you can get back up again stronger than ever before and THRIVE.
I’ve always been enthusiastic about great writing and have overcome my fears to turn my passion into a thriving career. I share my writings to inspire, encourage, uplift and give hope to others. These writings span over 25 years...life from the eyes of a teenager to life through the eyes of a 41 year old woman who believes that our past doesn't define us, it molded us and set us up for success in the future before us.

One of my favorite metaphors to life is the Japanese art of Kintsugi. This artform uses broken pottery pieces and puts them back together using gold. Each broken piece, just like each struggle in our past, is embraced and molded together. The flaws, imperfections and jagged edges are forged with gold to create a stronger, more beautiful, more resilient creation. Our pasts are those pieces, time is the gold, and the masterpiece is who we are today.
